Venture Makers

Venture makers is WSU’s new “at-scale” student entrepreneurship training and development platform developed by Launch Pad, the University’s Technology Business Incubator. Co-created and co-delivered with Launch Pad’s expansive network including NAB, KPMG, Amazon, Landcom, AusIndustry and CSIRO, Venture Makers will be industry oriented and deliver a world-class training experience for students. It will leverage the existing infrastructure, connections and capabilities of Launch Pad to serve as a flagship entrepreneurship product to enhance the reputation and competitiveness of the University and its partners locally and globally. Venture Makers will leverage the rich networks and environment that have been created through Launch Pad to offer program participants a high-impact start-up accelerator-style learning experience. The program will be designed and promoted initially to primarily engage students, but also be open in the future for WSU researchers, staff, alumni and employees of partner organisations.
