Venture Makers Global Exchange Program in Japan
Creating informed global citizens through immersive cultural experiences.
The Venture Makers Global Exchange Program in Japan is a 10-day intensive student mobility program in Kansai, the innovation capital of Japan. Hosted by the Kansai University of International Studies, this short exchange program will promote and deliver custom developed Venture Makers entrepreneurship training.
The program will see a global collaboration of universities from Japan, Canada, UK, India and Australia with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. This culturally immersive experience will provide a unique opportunity to students to develop interdisciplinary and global citizenship skills and expand on your knowledge of global startup ecosystems.
Venture Makers Foundations Subject
Venture Makers is presenting the new accredited subject, Venture Makers Foundations (BUSM 2047). In this industry-led program, experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts will be teaching you how to develop your employability and entrepreneurship skills.
The subject is worth 10 credit points and has been designed in three distinct Short Programs comprising of three content specific modules; culture, practice, and eco system. Students will develop core entrepreneurial skills and enhance their work readiness by creating and designing solutions to solve complex, real-world challenges.

Venture Makers is Western’s highly experiential and innovative entrepreneurship training and development program. We provide a series of premium quality innovation challenges and training opportunities based on developing solutions to current key global challenges and fostering innovation in Western Sydney.
Venture Makers is available to all Western students, researchers and staff across STEM, humanities and social sciences, business, education and health to collaborate across disciplines to develop entrepreneurial skills, enhance work readiness and establish key industry contacts.
