It was heartening to see students taking part in this challenge from 7 schools at Western Sydney University: School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences, School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment, School of Health Sciences, School of Business, School of Humanities and Communication Arts, and the School of Law. This rich diversity in backgrounds added a unique dimension to the challenge, offering a holistic perspective on healthcare technology and its potential to impact society.

The challenge was a hive of activity, with each team working tirelessly to address the challenge question that the Nursing students face as they train to go out to the workforce:

“How do we digitise medical records so that they simulate what we will interact with in the workforce?”

The enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication of the participants were truly commendable and the solutions that they developed in such a short time were innovative.
